Major Features in 8.1.0
Multiplayer Updates
There are several improvements to the way that Multiplayer event systems are processed and synced across instances. These changes are reflected in the updated UI with the ability to control the where and how these events are called. For more information, use this link : Multiplayer Updates
Play Animation Button
Animations can now be viewed within the builder using the Play Animation Button.
Users can now preview animations outside of playing the game.
New Event Systems
The Rotate By Axis event enables shapes to be rotated by their global axis, allowing easier control and accuracy for rotational event systems. This new event is similar to the existing Rotate By event but does not use local rotation positioning.
The Set Reflection event changes the reflection value of the applied texture on an object. This event can be set to alter how reflective the material becomes over time or instantly.
New 3rd Person Features
The 3rd person camera has been improved with more accurate player tracking that can better follow falling or fast moving players. The camera distance to players can also be controlled in the inspector panel.
Key Improvements
Player slotted objects with physics enabled will now interact correctly with the player. This aims to reduce clipping and improve how interactive equipped items can be.
